MS Norwegian Jewel stop at the Uturoa wharf on Thursday, October 26, 2017

The Norwegian Jewel, a transatlantic liner put into service in 2005 by the shipowner NORWEGIAN Cruise Line, honored us with a stopover at Uturoa Harbor, RAIATEA Island.

At a length of 294 meters and 32.2 meters wide for a draft of 8.3 meters, with 2376 passengers and 1154 crew members, this "class" of liner could return by the pass "PAI PAI" and dock at the Uturoa wharf safely.

A first for our stopover, and therefore a future opportunity to accommodate ships of this size, a new standard for the years to come.
